Raffles Club Promotion Day 2026: Elevating Campus Life Beyond the Classroom
The Campus Atrium was transformed into a vibrant hub of energy, creativity, and connection during the recent Raffles University Club Promotion Day. Bringing together existing student societies alongside exciting new additions, the afternoon showcased the rich diversity and active spirit of the Raffles University student community. Extracurricular involvement plays a vital role in shaping a well-rounded higher education experience, allowing students to build practical leadership skills, collaborate across academic disciplines, and forge lifelong friendships that extend far beyond lecture halls.
Interactive Booths and Campus Highlights
Each student club brought unique interactive activities to engage visitors and offer a taste of their community. The Student Representative Council (SRC) welcomed students with delicious homemade Sago Gula Melaka treats, while the Raffles University Psychology Association (RUPA) promoted upcoming field trips and showcased official society merchandise. The Raffles University Media Club (RUMC) tested students’ music knowledge with a lively ‘Guess the Song’ trivia game and classic Twister, while technical skills were on display at the Raffles University Digital Technology Club (RUDT) booth with a fast-paced typing speed contest. Creative highlights included the Raffles University Fashion Design Club (RUFD) hosting a popular live doodle photobooth and the Raffles University Interior Design Club (RUID) running a bottle colour-matching challenge.
Global and social connections were equally prominent throughout the venue. The Raffles University Foreign Languages & Overseas Culture Club (RAFULOC) connected global perspectives through an interactive World Map Pin activity, and the Raffles University International Club (RUIC) partnered with local brand Unlabel for an engaging Gacha spin wheel activity. Performance and fun were provided by the Raffles University Dance Club (RUDC), who energised the Atrium with a pop-up flashmob performance alongside balancing games. Meanwhile, the Raffles University Leo Club (RULEO) brought fair-style entertainment with a Plinko board and memory flip card challenges. For those interested in self-discovery and networking, the Raffles University Community Social Responsibility (RUCSR) club engaged students with interactive MBTI personality profiling, while the Raffles University Business Club (RUBC) and Raffles University Badminton Club (RUBC) connected with aspiring entrepreneurs and sports enthusiasts to outline upcoming workshops and tournaments.
Welcoming Our Newest Student Clubs
The event also marked the official launch of three newly established student societies within our growing campus network. The Golf Club welcomed students with a mini putting contest, offering beginners and experienced players alike a chance to refine their swing. Finally, the New Exposure Club made its debut with an inaugural Game Day, providing a fresh platform for creative expression and engaging student events.
