BAT CONDUCTED CAREER TALK TO RU STUDENTS
British American Tobacco Malaysia, known as BAT, recently held a special career talk for students from Raffles University. The main focus of this talk was to share helpful advice on making great resumes and acing job interviews.
During this event, representatives from BAT had an open and friendly discussion with the eager students. They began the seminar with the introduction of the company culture and career opportunities. They shared practical tips on how to create effective resumes, such as how to format them and highlight important achievements. The students also learned how to tailor their resumes to specific job positions, which can make a big difference in getting noticed by potential employers.
But the talk didn’t stop there. It also covered how to prepare for job interviews. The students received valuable advice on how to confidently talk about their strengths and handle tough interview questions. This kind of information is essential in today’s competitive job market.
BAT also took the opportunity during the career talk to introduce an exciting initiative known as the “Battle of Mind” competition. This competition provides a unique platform for students to unleash their entrepreneurial spirit and pitch groundbreaking business ideas. What makes this competition particularly remarkable is its focus on four key areas: technology, biology, energy, and inclusion.
Raffles University is thrilled to announce a momentous achievement – one of our teams has secured a prestigious position in the top three of the competition.
