Standing Against Corruption: Empowering Students Through Integrity Education

Raffles University took a bold stand against corruption through a powerful and engaging Anti-Corruption Campaign held on 12 March 2025. The campaign was part of the MPU2422 Kursus Integriti dan Anti Rasuah, engaging 22 students in a dynamic afternoon of learning, interaction, and advocacy.

At the heart of the campaign was a thought-provoking session led by Assistant Superintendent Malani Devi a/p Bhaskaran, who brought invaluable insights from her experience in combating bribery and corruption. Her talk served as a reminder that integrity starts with individual choices, and she inspired students to become change-makers in building a more transparent and accountable society.

In addition to the impactful sharing session, students explored a series of interactive booths and activities, including:

  • Fun and educational games that challenged participants’ understanding of ethics and decision-making.
  • Role-play video projections illustrating real-world scenarios of corruption and the consequences of unethical actions.
  • Food and beverage booths that added a lively, community-focused element to the campaign atmosphere.
Key Takeaways

The event highlighted the importance of early awareness and education in nurturing ethical leaders of tomorrow. More than just a campaign, it was a call to action—encouraging students to unite against corruption and uphold the values of integrity in their daily lives and future careers.
