Raffles University Booster Club hosted a Running Man Event on the 18th of November 2023 at the Medini 7, Raffles University’s campus turned into a fun place with different challenges, and excitement as participants from diverse backgrounds united for a day of intense running man competition and memorable experiences.
Welcoming the Participants
The day began with the Registration and Welcome session, where participants were warmly greeted and officially registered for the day’s adventure. The Opening Ceremony set the stage for an unforgettable journey, introducing the unique concept behind the Running Man Event and providing a brief overview of the challenges that awaited the daring participants.
Seven Missions of Grit and Strategy
Booster Club took on seven missions to test participants on physical skills, strategic thinking, and teamwork. In the morning, they played “Congkak,” a traditional game mixing strategy and skill, and faced the entertaining yet challenging “Eating Salad” mission. The “Treasure Hunt” and “Balloon Tower” missions brought out participants’ detective and architect skills, focusing on creativity and design.
After lunch break, the afternoon sessions started with “Minefield,” challenging blindfolded participants to navigate with only verbal communication. “Spider Web” required teams to navigate a complex web of ropes without touching them, while the “Splash Game” added a refreshing twist with a water balloon toss. The Final Mission, “Nametag Tearing,” brought the day’s challenges to an exciting close.
Celebrating Success at the Closing Ceremony
At the Closing Ceremony and Awards, participants gathered for a moment of celebration and recognition. The winning team and individual awards were announced, highlighting the exceptional talent, teamwork, and determination displayed throughout the day.
