RAFFLES UNIVERSITY MEDINI CAMPUS

Raffles University is located at Medini 7, Iskandar Puteri. The campus spans a total Gross Floor Area (GFA) of approximately 39,500 square feet, with Raffles University occupying the first floor and ground floor of the building. Our campus is more than just a place to attend classes, it is a community of learners, educators and practitioners.

The campus features six wings, offering a comprehensive range of facilities. It includes 19 academic classrooms and 13 studios. It also includes specialised rooms equipped for professional and technical purposes, such as a design workshop with heavy machinery and 3D printing, a sewing room, a Photography and Videography studio, a UI & UX lab, an AI & Digital Lab, a therapy room, a psychology lab, and an observation and consultation room. Additionally, the campus is equipped with essential amenities like a seminar hall, Imaginarium, creative lab, computer lab, Mac lab, library, student lounges, and pantries, ensuring a conducive environment for learning and creativity.

CAMPUS FACILITIES

ACADEMIC ROOMS / STUDIOS

Raffles University boasts a campus with 19 fully equipped academic rooms. The campus also features a four design studios, three fashion studios, and six interior design studios.

Students will engage with their lecturers in the academic rooms for classes and consultations, while the studios provide a creative space for artistic expression and interactive learning activities. These facilities are designed to enrich the student learning experience at Raffles University.

CREATIVE STUDIOS

Raffles University Level 2 features a creativity showcase studio designed to inspire innovation.

We believe creativity should not be confined by traditional spaces, so we are dedicated to creating open and dynamic studios that differ from conventional classroom layouts, fostering a vibrant environment for artistic expression and collaboration.

FASHION DESIGN

Raffles University’s Fashion Design Department, situated in the East Wing, provides students with well-furnished facilities to nurture their creativity. The Fashion Design Galleria highlights students’ innovative creations, while the Fashion Sewing Studio offers a dedicated space for garment construction.

With three (3) Fashion Design Studios and a comprehensive Resource Centre, students have ample workspace and resources to develop their design projects and be inspired on their fashion design journey.

INTERIOR DESIGN DEPARTMENT

Raffles University Medini Campus’s Interior Design Department, located in the west wing, offers a stimulating environment for students to unleash their creativity. With state-of-the-art facilities like the Interior Design Galleria, six spacious Interior Design Studios, and a well-equipped Design Workshop featuring advanced tools, such as 3D printing and laser cutting machines, students have the resources they need to excel.

The Interior Design Resource Centre further enriches their journey with an extensive collection of references and materials.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY STUDIO (PV STUDIO)

Raffles University’s Photography & Videography Studio (PV Studio) is equipped with a green cinematic screen and state-of-the-art equipment.

Students have access to professional tools and resources to capture stunning photographs and create compelling videos. The PV Studio provides an ideal environment for students to unleash their creativity and develop their skills in photography and videography.

PSYCHOLOGY
LAB

Psychology facilities include a therapy room, a psychology lab, and an observation and consultation room, designed to provide a comprehensive environment for learning and practical application.

These spaces facilitate hands-on experience, enabling students to engage in therapeutic practices, conduct research, and observe consultations in a professional setting.

THE ADVANCED LABS

Raffles University boasts cutting-edge technology labs that are designed to foster student learning and innovation.

The Mac Lab and Computer Lab provide students with access to state-of-the-art computing resources, while the AI & Digital Design Lab specialises in artificial intelligence and digital design. The AI & Robotics Lab offers students an exciting opportunity to explore the field of robotics.

THE ATRIUM

Raffles University’s Atrium is a vibrant gathering place where students from different faculties come together to engage in a variety of activities organised by student clubs.

It serves as a central hub for social interactions, fostering connections and encouraging collaboration among the student community.

THE STUDENT LOUNGE & PANTRY

Raffles University provides a comfortable and welcoming student lounge where students can relax, socialize, and unwind between classes.

Additionally, the student pantry offers a convenient space for students to prepare meals, store food, and enjoy snacks. These facilities aim to create a conducive and enjoyable environment for students during their time on campus.

THE LIBRARY

The RU Library spans an area of 94.3 square meters and offers a range of facilities and services to cater to students’ needs. Students can easily borrow and return resources from the library’s collection. The library also provides a dedicated study area where students can focus on their academic pursuits.

Additionally, the Learning Support Centre (LSC) offers resources and assistance to enhance students’ learning experience. For added convenience, printing and binding services are available to support students’ academic and research endeavours.
