PhD 𝐕𝐈𝐕𝐀 𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔!

Raffles University is pleased to congratulate Mr Wong Chee Seng on successfully passing his PhD Viva Voce with Minor Corrections on 8 June 2026.

His doctoral thesis, titled “Talent Management Strategies, Emotional Intelligence, and Employee Retention in Malaysia’s Private Higher Education Industry”, was supervised by Prof. Dr Choi Sang Long and co-supervised by Dr Hii Puong Koh.

The examination panel comprised Dr Goh Chin Fei from the Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and Assoc. Prof. Dr Mandy Mok from Raffles University, Iskandar Puteri. The viva session was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr Wong Shaw Chiang and assisted by Ms Nurunnadiah Baharum.

This achievement reflects Mr Wong’s dedication, perseverance, and commitment to advancing knowledge in the field of talent management and employee retention within Malaysia’s private higher education sector.
