MOU SIGNING

Raffles University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nanyang Learning Hub Sdn Bhd. The founder of Nanyang Learning Hub Sdn Bhd – Mr Nicholas LEE, mentioned that the quality of Malaysian Higher Education is higher and competitive with the other university in the region. With the development of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), Malaysia will become the center of the education industry. The president of Raffles University – Mr Greg PRITCHARD, mentioned that the collaboration of Nanyang  Learning Hub is indicative and meaningful. He looks forward to the development of both parties in the education industry and wishes for a further collaboration relationship in the future.

The MOU of Nanyang Learning Hub and Raffles University covers a few upcoming projects. It includes both parties to develop the Chinese-foreign cooperation technical school, starting from the higher vocational school in the southern part of China. Besides, both parties will collaborate deeply in the Technical and vocational education and training programme (TVET) through the Raffles University Centre of Professional Development (RU CPD). The TVET programmes aim to provide high-quality training and career opportunities for students. Besides, both parties look forward for more projects to work together in the future.

东南亚区域著名教育资源机构 – 南洋教育中心 (Nanyang Learning Hub Sdn. Bhd.) 与马来西亚莱佛士大学（Raffles University）在后者位于柔佛的校区签署了战略合作协议。通过此协议，双方将合作进行多方面深度合作。南洋教育中心创办人兼董事长李双发表示马来西亚高等教育在东南亚区域中属于数一数二高素质并且与区域内其他国家相比其性价比也极高。未来在区域全面经济伙伴关系协定（RCEP）的加持之下，马来西亚必定将成为区域教育中心。莱佛士大学院长格雷戈里·普里查德教授（Gregory PRITCHARD）则表示与南洋教育中心的合作是指标性并深具意义的，他热切期待双方在区域教育领域的共同发展同时也不排除未来会延伸至更深更广的合作关系。

南洋教育中心以及莱佛士大学此次的战略合作协议覆盖了多个项目。其中包括面向中国国内的技术学校共同开发中外合作办学项目，初期将从中国南方城市的高职高专开始该项目。除此之外，双方也将在职业技术教育与培训（TVET）进行深度合作，除了提供高素质的培训之外也将提供就业机会给完成培训的学员。除了以上两项，双方也将手牵手一同开发跨国际的多方合作办学以及联合培养项目。

此次的签约典礼在简单却不失仪式感的氛围下圆满完成。
