Micro-Credentials (MCs) Courses are smaller, shorter and stackable courses that Raffles University offers. The Micro-Credentials courses are specially designed to fit the demanded skillset, technique, and knowledge required in the industry. The MCs course aims to increase the competency and versatility of learners and promote the culture of life-long learning.

Types of Micro-credentials
Credit bearing Micro-credentials (CBMCs)
A Credit BearingMicro-Credentials Course is a short and stackable course that carries the credits for formal learning. It provides an alternative pathway for learners who wish to achieve academic qualifications.
Stand-Alone Micro-credentials (SAMCs)
Micro-Credentials Professional course (MCs Professional) is a specially designed short course that tailors the demanded skillset, technique or knowledge in the industry.
COURSE AVAILABLE FOR RU STUDENTS
JANUARY SEMESTER 2025
- RU Diploma students in Year 2
- RU Degree students in Year 3
- CGPA must be above 3.00
- The main programme timetable must not clash with the micro-credential timetable.
- Check the timetable of the Micro-Credentials to register from SAS before the semester starts.
- Meet and discuss with PD
- PD will send your name and Micro-Credentials module to SAS
- You need to register the Micro-Credentials module with SAS within week 1 to week 2 of semester Jan 2025
- Make payment
- Receive the offer letter of the Micro-Credentials
- Start to attend the class before week 3.
- Attendance and Assessment Policy are applied to Micro-Credentials module.
