INTO THE FUTURE - ALUMNI/SENIOR SHARING SESSION

Raffles Cogito Ergo Club organised an alumni sharing session themed “Into your Future” for students from Foundation in Liberal Arts, Foundation in Business and all Diploma Students. The event enables Raffles Alumni to share their study experience at Raffles University.

The alumni who were invited were

Jedsel YONG Jae Den – Bachelor of Multimedia Design (Honours)
Jedsel was active as the President of the Raffles University Student Representative Council (SRC) during his studies at Raffles University. He served as the president of RU SRC for two years and was actively involved in internal and external activities. In the convocation 2022,  he was the winner of the Chew Hua Seng Foundation Award 2022, and he was also selected as valedictorian 2011-2022.

Aktshara Bala SUPERMINAM – Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours)
Aktshara was selected as the President of EduCity Student Senate during her study. She was also selected as Maybank Ambassador (#Mbassador)

LEE Kai Wen – Bachelor in Interior Design (Honours) 
Kai Wen is a famous senior in the interior design department of Raffles University due to his leadership among the juniors and his creative and innovative mindset in his interior design portfolio. Kai Wen is now an entrepreneur with an interior design office.

Khatiyanani R YOGANATHAN – Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
Khatiyanani was the winner of the Raffles University Dean’s Award in 2020. She has completed her Master of Educational Psychology studies and is planning to pursue her PhD soon in the future.

ENG Bai Yan – Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
Bai Yan was also one of the winners of the Raffles University Dean’s Award in 2020. She is currently self-employed as a piano teacher.

Kai Wen, Khatiyanani and Bai Yan participated in the SAKURA Exchange Programme in Science in Japan that was held in 2018 along with other 7 students from Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours).

TAN Wei Da – Bachelor of Information Systems (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence
Wei Da is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Information Systems (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence in Raffles University. He was a helpful student facilitator who assisted and guided the other students in Raffles University International Python School Coding Challenge.

The club also announced the winner of the logo design competition. The winner of the competition is Shalini a/p Sathiamurthy
