On 20-21 November 2024, the Faculty of AI and Robotics transformed the G1 & G2 Courtyard into a hub of innovation and technological wonder with the Brainwave Bazaar. This two-day event showcased the groundbreaking work of Raffles University’s Bachelor of Information Systems (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence and Bachelor of Data Science (Honours) students, captivating attendees with a vision of the future.

The event commenced with a vibrant opening ceremony on November 20, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Faculty members, students, and visitors convened to witness the official unveiling of student projects. This ceremony set an inspiring tone for the showcase, celebrating the ingenuity and innovation of the next generation of technology. The bazaar highlighted a range of AI-driven projects designed to solve real-world problems. From predictive analytics tools to intelligent automation systems, these projects demonstrated the practical applications of AI in healthcare, education, and business, reflecting the students’ ability to merge technology with societal needs.

Visitors were engaged through interactive games that made complex algorithms fun and accessible. These games focused on essential AI concepts like search and sorting methods, showing how these foundational algorithms power everyday technologies, from navigation systems to e-commerce recommendations. The showcase also featured innovative prototypes that pushed the boundaries of technological creativity. Among the highlights were smart home devices, AI-driven customer service solutions, and robotics designed to enhance daily life. These products gave attendees a glimpse into how future technology might integrate seamlessly into our lives.
