Kancil Awards

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the success of our Bachelor of Graphic Design(Honours) and Diploma in Visual Communication students, who have made their mark at the prestigious Kancil Awards 2024. The Kancil Awards is acknowledged as Malaysia’s largest, most prestigious advertising awards competition.Their creativity, dedication, and passion for impactful design have been recognized on a national platform, showcasing their ability to push boundaries and deliver meaningful experiences through visual communication.

Congratulations to Ng Huei Yong for winning the Bronze Award for Best Idea for Social Good with his outstanding project, “Echo Temple.” This remarkable work demonstrates how design can be a force for positive change, combining artistic vision with social impact.

Adding to this list of exceptional achievements, Abiramee A/P Devandran earned the Merit Award for Digital Experience with her portfolio, Mindful Aura. Her work exemplifies the intersection of creativity and technology, delivering thoughtful, engaging experiences that resonate with modern audiences.

Lai Wee Chin has also made us proud by earning the Merit Award for Illustration for his portfolio, “Xian-Si Temple.” His mastery of static visual aesthetics and attention to detail have set his work apart, earning him this well-deserved recognition.

In addition, our talented duo, Samuel Hong Wei Loon and Lim Jia Qi, received the Merit Award for Brand Experience & Activation for their portfolio, “Back to Memories 忆起.” Their innovative storytelling and ability to create immersive brand experiences reflect the future of visual communication.

These achievements underscore the exceptional talent nurtured at Raffles University. We are proud to see our students excel academically and make meaningful contributions to the creative industry.
