CENTRE FOR INNOVATIVE TEACHING & LEARNING (CiTL)

CiTL is established to disseminate and support effective teaching and learning strategies in Raffles University. Our mission is to enable academics to deploy effective teaching strategies by using various learning materials and online tools to deliver innovative, interactive and informative learning experience to cultivate future-ready professionals. It is also our goal to support learners by providing essential skill set to succeed in their RU learning journey.

THE ROLE OF CiTL

– Lead and support the implementation of online and offline learning in RU.

– Support on pedagogy training for both synchronous and asynchronous teaching and learning.

– Collaborate with team in technology integration by improving and enhancing the learning management system.

– Support academic staffs to design and develop digital content base on RU Online Learning Model.

– To support Open Distance Learning (ODL) students by giving enrichment lessons for the effectives of learning via ODL mode.

CiTL and Open Distance Learning

CiTL plays an important part in ensuring the RU Open Distance Learning (ODL) courses able to achieve its objectives. By observing the learning outcomes and constantly listening feedbacks from stakeholders, including learners and academics, to evaluate and improve the existing teaching and learning strategies.

As online learning mode could be new and challenging, CiTL is ready to provide assistance and welcome suggestions or feedbacks, always ready to support online learners to pave the way for a better learning experience in Raffles University.
