Mosaic Showcase

The Mosaic Showcase provided a platform for Raffles University students to express their individual stories and understanding among our diverse community. The event aimed to allow students to share their unique narratives, promoting empathy and unity by showcasing stories from various backgrounds. It also emphasised the importance of presentation skills in personal and collective growth, celebrating the rich tapestry of cultures, experiences, and perspectives that our students bring to the university. 

The Mosaic Showcase featured a series of presentations, each limited to 5-10 minutes, where students shared their stories through engaging formats. Some students delivered powerful spoken word pieces, using rhythm and emotion to convey their experiences. Others opted to narrate short stories, taking the audience on a journey through their personal or imagined worlds. Visual artists displayed their creations, offering a glimpse into their artistic interpretations of their lives and cultures.They utilised multimedia presentations, blending video, audio, and graphics to tell their stories dynamically. Some students brought in real objects that held significance in their stories, providing tangible connections to their narratives. 

The event was a testament to the talent and creativity of our students. It highlighted their presentation skills and also allowed the audience to gain a deeper understanding of their peers’ backgrounds and perspectives. The showcase was a vibrant celebration of the diverse and multifaceted community that makes Raffles University a unique place to learn and grow.
