Painting for a Purpose

On 28 February 2026, RU Leo Club joined the Johor Jaya Lions Club and CanHOPE Cancer Resource Centre in a meaningful community charity event aimed at supporting patients undergoing dialysis treatment. This initiative is part of the Lions Club’s ongoing efforts to give back to the local community through outreach programmes. CanHOPE provided the venue, canvas bags, and a creative platform for participants to engage in art while contributing to a charitable cause.

The purpose of the event was to combine creativity with social responsibility. Participants painted canvas bags that were later sold to raise funds for dialysis patients, helping to provide essential support to those in need. RU Leo Club members were actively involved, using their creativity to contribute to the initiative and support the community.
