We are excited to launch our ESG Display Corner—a dedicated informational hub designed to highlight our community’s ongoing commitment to building a greener, fairer, and more accountable campus. As an institutional member of the ESG Association of Malaysia, Raffles University is taking active steps to embed sustainability into everyday academic life, campus operations, and university culture.

Guided by the RU Green Guideline, this pillar focuses on energy conservation (such as maintaining air conditioning at 24–25°C), campus-wide paper reduction and digitalisation, and eliminating single-use disposable packaging.

Social (S): Community, Culture & Well-Being
This pillar covers student-led SDG projects, mental health awareness campaigns, community workshops, and fostering inclusive learning environments where everyone can thrive.

The RU Green Guideline Screen: A visual display breaking down our sustainability commitments, core values, and actionable eco-friendly habits for staff and students.

Smart Recycling Station: Featuring the RecyLink S Lite Mini (by Terra Green Malaysia), showcasing smart innovation for recycling plastic bottles and aluminium cans on campus.

The UN SDG Framework: Prominent displays linking our university efforts directly to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, alongside inspirational reminders of our shared responsibility towards planet Earth.

Follow the Green Guidelines: Practice simple everyday habits like using natural light, switching off electrical devices when leaving a room, and printing double-sided only when necessary.

Recycle Responsibly: Use the RecyLink station correctly by ensuring items are free of food waste and dropping one item at a time (up to 1 kg per load).

Bring Your Own (BYO): Reduce single-use waste by bringing your own reusable water bottles and food containers to campus.
