Cultural Day

Raffles University held an enriching Cultural Day event organised by the Student Representative Council (SRC) in collaboration with students from MPU 2412 Co-curricular. This event aimed to encourage social interaction among Raffles University students, fostering stronger bonds and friendships across different cultural backgrounds. The event aimed to enhance communication and understanding among students from various faculties and encourage them to get to know each other better. 

The Cultural Day event was a celebration of diversity and cultural achievements within the Raffles University community. It recognised students’ efforts in promoting cultural awareness and appreciation throughout the academic year.  

The main objectives of the Cultural Day were to promote cultural awareness and respect for different traditions, celebrate diversity within the RU community, foster inclusivity and a sense of belonging for all cultural backgrounds, build cultural competence and cross-cultural understanding, provide a platform for indie vendors and handcraft artists to showcase their talent and products, and foster young entrepreneurship and creativity. 

The Cultural Day event was a memorable occasion that highlighted the importance of diversity, inclusivity, and cultural appreciation at Raffles University. It brought together students from various backgrounds, enhancing their university experience and strengthening community bonds.
