TRANSPORTATION POLICY

Raffles University’s Transportation Policy aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting sustainability through eco-conscious mobility. Through education and active transportation promotion, we champion responsible and sustainable transportation practices, contributing to a greener, more environmentally friendly future.

1. The university supports sustainable transportation options among students, staff, and visitors, encompassing carpooling, cycling, public transport, electric vehicles, and more. 
2. Charging stations for electric vehicles are available on campus to facilitate the usage of electric cars. 
3. The university has implemented flexible work arrangements for both staff and students, allowing for flexible commuting hours to reduce commuting frequency. 
4. University-owned vehicles are available for group visits, encouraging carpooling among attendees. 
5. A shuttle bus service is provided for students commuting between EduCity Village and the campus. 
6. The Medini community has well-planned bike lanes to ensure cyclist safety. 
7. Regular educational campaigns, workshops, and seminars will be organised to raise awareness about sustainable transportation choices and their positive impact on the environment.
