RECYCLING POLICY
Raffles University’s “Go Green” policy embodies our firm commitment to sustainability. Our Recycling Policy is at the heart of this effort, focusing on responsible waste management. Through strategically placed bins, clear waste sorting, and educational efforts, we empower our community to engage in waste reduction. This approach aligns with global sustainability goals and fosters an environmentally conscious culture.
- When providing food and beverages for an event, the university will use only environmentally friendly packaged products.
- When providing water for an event the university will use only an environmentally friendly solution.
- The university will reduce the use of paper by using digital solutions where feasible.
- The University will minimize the waste of resources through a recycling, reuse and repurpose initiative in both operation, teaching and learning. For example, set up recycling stations in different faculties and offices around the campus.
- The management of the university will consider the environmental impact of all purchases or services commissioned.
- The university will arrange regular awareness programmes, workshops, and training sessions will be conducted to inform and educate students, faculty, and staff about proper recycling practices.
- The University will evaluate environmental and economic impacts and benefits in the procurement and purchasing decision-making processes
- The management of the university will consider the environmental impact of all programs and services provided.

RU GREEN GUIDELINE
RU Green guideline is announced in 2023 to promote the green environmental awareness among students and staff through understanding environmental issues, engaging in environmental stewardship and promoting sustainable use of the resources.
BYO CUTLERY
Students are encouraged to bring your own cutlery to attend any event in the campus.
RECYCLE STATION
The RU Recycle station is set up at the student lounge at South Wing.
