FASHION DESIGN SHARING SESSION
RU READY FOR THE NEW NORMAL IN FASHION INDUSTRY
Raffles University is inviting everyone of you to join our Fashion Day Sharing Session!
The pandemic of Covid-19 has affected various areas of business. It has transformed the conventional ways of working into virtual ways. Therefore, it is utmost important for the students to aware and reflects on whether they are well prepared to embrace the challenges.
Raffles University has invited our industry partners and alumni who are active in the fashion industry to share their views on the new normal after during the pandemics.
We also invite two art therapists from the United Kingdom to share with us what is Art Therapy and how it can be applied when we have stress. They will also share a little bit on how art therapy has been changed during the pandemics.

*All RU students from Diploma in Fashion Design and Bachelor of Fashion Design(Honours) are compulsory for this event. FD students are required to sign up via PDS page.

INDUSTRY PARTNERS SHARING SESSION
Miss Joe Yee Lim and Mr Yong Min Yee are the founder and co-founder of Joey’L Fashion Concept. It is a Local Designer Fashion Label in Malaysia. It initially begins as e-commerce (Online Store) and it has been expanded to 3 physical outlets and 6 consignment store. In this sharing sessions, the founder and co-founder will share with you how they adapt their business to the new normal in fashion industry.
2PM – 3PM
RU ALUMINI SHARING SESSION
Mr Mervyn Pau, Miss Tan Pei Yi and Miss Afie Rohim are the graduates from Bachelor of Fashion Design (Honours) of Raffles University. In this sharing session, they will share with you how the pandemic has changed their work environments and how you should be ready for that.
3PM – 4PM
INTRODUCTION TO ART THERAPY
2020 has been an interesting year due to the pandemic, we believe that a lot of people are in the state of stress due to the new normal arise from the pandemic. Hence, we have invited Miss Lisa Gibson and Miss Louise Higgs to share with you what is art therapy and how will you benefit from the art therapy. They will also be sharing a little bit on how pandemic has changed the art therapy.
