“Constantly surrounded by elements that although comes to unnoticeable, but has impacted all of our lives, where happiness is the end goal. Here, these inspirations are turned into fashion.”
Raffles University and Raffles University Fashion Club colleborated to hold an Online Fashion Showcase. Two Raffles Fashion Designers from 服装设计学士（荣誉学位） will share their fashion journey and passions into works of art.

HAPPINESS EXPEDITIONS
DESIGNER: WONG ZI QING
“HAPPINESS EXPEDITION is inspired by “Happiness is a journey, not a destination.” We all are explorers of happiness in our lives. The journey of exploring happiness is just like an adventure, and happiness is the meaning and goal for our life. Each process is not necessarily perfect and sometimes we will encounter some setbacks, but these setbacks will make us firmer in the life we yearn for. Through the series, people can reflect on their journey of happiness. Besides that, Happiness is contagious. Happier people pass their happiness on to those around them. Finally, happiness also spreads throughout society.
HAPPINESS EXPEDITIONS collection uses the collision of fabric manipulation and colour combination to describe the journey of adventure and happiness. They connect like a puzzle, representing complex but beautiful memories from the journey of happiness.”

Elements in all of us. We are molded in so many ways, and these elements in a way shapes us as a person. It gets unnoticed but it has an impact to our lives as in the person that we want or the person that we are. How we talk, how we feel and also, how we are towards others. In other ways, these elements have always been around us, from the dawn of time. Now it’s time to explore it.
Elements in all of us features dramatic layers and flare that translate to our personality and traits and the colors of contrast that separates us from these elements, but even though the contrast is noticeable, it’s there to complement, to complete, and to work with each other.
