Route 27 Zine Exhibition
Route 27: A Journey Through the Pekan Nanas Zine Exhibition
Step aboard a creative voyage along Route 27, named after the 27-mile distance between Johor Bahru and Pekan Nanas. In collaboration with Tekan Studio and Raffles University, this zine exhibition invites visitors on a nostalgic bus journey, where each stop unveils a unique zine with its own story to tell. Featuring 24 zines created by students from Raffles University’s Bachelor of Graphic Design and Bachelor of Multimedia Design programs, the exhibition captures the spirit of Pekan Nanas’ culture and lifestyle. Merging the town’s rich heritage with modern creativity, this immersive experience bridges the past and present, offering a fresh perspective on Pekan Nanas through innovative student expressions.
