Celebrating Innovation: Raffles University Triumphs at i-RICE Competition 2026

Raffles University students have once again proved that where genuine passion meets hands-on engineering, extraordinary real-world solutions follow. At the 4th International Research, Innovation, Creativity and Engineering Project Competition (i-RICE ’26) held at Sutera Mall, our student innovators brought home a collection of top honours across multiple categories.

Organised by Southern University College and the IEM-SUC Student Section, i-RICE ’26 brought together vibrant young minds from across the region to showcase working prototypes, sustainable engineering concepts, and practical problem-solving. Our teams stood out through their technical ingenuity, analytical rigor, and exceptional presentation skills.

Beyond the Accolades

While trophy wins mark memorable milestones, the true value of i-RICE ’26 lies in the journey—the late-night iterations, teamwork under pressure, and the resilience built through overcoming technical hurdles. At Raffles University, we aim to foster an learning environment where theoretical knowledge naturally translates into real-world impact. Seeing our students address real-world challenges through sustainable design and smart technology confirms the strength of our hands-on curriculum.

A huge congratulations to all our winners, participants, and academic mentors involved in this remarkable achievement. Keep experimenting, keep building, and never stop innovating!
