数码游戏设计大专文凭主要的目的是为了培育学生们成为优越的游戏设计师并具备了相关职业所需的学术知识及实践技能。通过这个课程，学生将会体验每一个级别的游戏发展包括了初步设计到游戏生产。在这个课程结束之前，学生将运用职场实际使用的工具及软件来创造不同的游戏内容包括了休闲游戏及手机游戏等。这个课程也特别设计以准备学生们面对成为Unity资格的三维设计师。
