[18 December 2020] Raffles University achieved the Tier of 3 in SETARA 2018 |2019 in the category of Emerging Universities.
SETARA is a rating system introduced by the Higher Education Ministry (MoHE) to assess the teaching, research, and services of higher education institutions in Malaysia. SETARA aims to ensure that the higher tertiary education will continue the quality improvement process to complements the quality assurance of the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).

There were 33 universities that fall under the category of the emerging university. We are proud to announce that Raffles University achieved 3 Stars in our first SETARA assessment since Raffles University was established in 2011. This is definitely a great milestone for RU.
We would also like to take this opportunity to appreciate all the efforts of RU’s employees. All their efforts contributed to the great milestone. In the future, RU will continue to improve our quality of teaching and learning to lead RU to achieve the next milestone.
