Raffles University's New System Learning Workshop with MonsoonSIM

On 5 October 2023, Business Faculty host a supply chain Business System Learning Workshop with MonsoonSIM. In 莱佛士大学, we are training our students to be Industrial ready, so that it’s essential for our students to not only understand theoretical business concepts but also to apply them in real-world scenarios. With this commitment in mind, we are excited to introduce our Learning Workshop with the invited speaker from MonsoonSIM. It is a cloud-based, experiential learning platform that is transforming the way business concepts are taught. Through gamification and simulations, MonsoonSIM offers experiential learning, enabling students to acquire knowledge and skills through direct experiences. This approach allows students to actively participate in their learning process rather than passively receiving information. It’s a way to learn business concepts as it bridges the gap between theory and practice, preparing students for the challenges of the modern business world.
Gamification: Making Learning Fun and Competitive
The platform incorporates gamification elements, such as point scoring and competition, to keep learners engaged and motivated. Students get to score points based on the success of their business decisions, creating an environment of healthy competition and collaboration. MonsoonSIM provides a virtual business environment where learners can experiment with different strategies and decisions in a risk-free setting. These simulations provide hands-on experience in managing different aspects of a business and allow students to see the consequences of their decisions in real-time.
