Raffles University Student Works Featured at Malaysian Architecture Week Johor 2025
Raffles University student works were showcased at Malaysian Architecture Week (MAW) Johor 2025, held from 12 to 19 September 2025 at Kota Jail, Johor Bahru.
Presented by Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia Southern Chapter (PAMSo) in conjunction with Festival Seni Bina Johor 2025, the event provided a public platform for architectural works from across the Southern region.
Heritage & Horizons
With the theme “Heritage & Horizons: Experience the Future of Malaysian Architecture at Kota Jail”, MAW Johor 2025 celebrated the dialogue between heritage preservation and contemporary innovation.
The exhibition showcased 3D architectural models by architects, designers, lecturers and students from across the Southern region.
Raffles University participated by exhibiting student works, providing an opportunity for these projects to be presented as part of the wider exhibition.
Showcasing Student Works to the Public
As a public exhibition, Malaysian Architecture Week Johor 2025 provided an opportunity for visitors to explore a range of architectural models and projects at Kota Jail.
Raffles University’s participation enabled student works to be showcased beyond the university environment and presented to members of the public alongside works by architects, designers, lecturers and other students.
The exhibition provided a platform for Raffles University students to share their work within an event centred on architecture, heritage and contemporary innovation.




Connecting Education with the Architecture Community
Beyond the exhibition, MAW Johor 2025 also featured curated talks, panel sessions and networking opportunities, bringing together architects, designers, lecturers and students.
Raffles University’s participation provided an opportunity for student works to be presented to the public as part of Malaysian Architecture Week Johor 2025.
Through participation in the exhibition, Raffles University students had the opportunity to showcase their work alongside architectural models and projects from across the Southern region.
