Stress Management and Resilience Workshop

Building Resilience Through Stress Management and Well-Being at Raffles University

Raffles University brought together members of the university community and the public for the Stress Management and Resilience Cultivation Workshop on 8 October 2025, creating an engaging space to explore practical approaches to managing stress and strengthening personal resilience.

Held as part of RU Wellness Day, the workshop focused on the importance of mental, emotional and social well-being, particularly in navigating the demands and challenges of everyday life.

Led by lecturers from the 社会科学系, the session moved beyond a conventional lecture format by incorporating interactive games and activities. Through active participation, attendees were encouraged to reflect on stress, recognise the importance of resilience and explore ways to support their overall well-being.

Making Well-Being Meaningful and Engaging

The interactive approach demonstrated that conversations around wellness do not always have to be formal or clinical. Learning through games and shared experiences provided participants with an accessible and engaging way to better understand stress management while connecting with others.

Open to the Raffles University community and members of the public, the workshop also reflected the University’s commitment to extending meaningful learning and well-being initiatives beyond the classroom.

Through initiatives such as RU Wellness Day, Raffles University continues to encourage a campus culture where well-being, personal development and meaningful connections form an important part of the university experience.
