Colorella 2025: Turning Colors into Compassion through SDG Impact
As part of Colorella 2025: Bazaar of Colors, our SRC representatives transformed celebration into compassion by channeling the event’s profits towards a meaningful cause. The proceeds were donated to Shechinah Association Johor Bahru, a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing shelter, care, and support for the less fortunate.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities. It reflects our commitment to social responsibility and community engagement, demonstrating how student-led initiatives can create positive change beyond campus. Through Colorella 2025, creativity, unity, and generosity came together, turning vibrant moments into a lasting impact for the community.
Celebrating Color and Connection Throughout the Event
Colorella: Bazaar of Color, held on 8 October 2025 at the EduCity Sports Complex, brought together students from Raffles University and universities across Johor Bahru for a day filled with food, music, and vibrant celebration.
The highly anticipated Color Splash became the highlight of the celebration, as bursts of bright colors filled the air, symbolising unity, diversity, and shared joy. Colorella 2025 was more than just a day of fun; it was a platform for connection and collaboration across institutions. Most importantly, the celebration extended beyond the excitement of the day. Through its charitable contribution and student-led efforts, Colorella 2025 embodied the true spirit of community give-back.
