Welcomes Maersk Malaysia for an Insightful Industry Visit

At Raffles University, we continuously strive to bridge the gap between academia and industry, creating opportunities for our students to engage with real-world experts. On 30 September, we welcomed the representatives from Maersk Malaysia Sdn Bhd for an insightful industry visit, where they shared their expertise and discussed potential collaborations.
We were honored to host Ms Ili Haya Ismail (Hub Incidents Manager), Mr Naveed Khan (Hub Service Planning Manager Backhaul Flow and Asia Imports), Mr Karthigeyan (Hub Marine Services Manager), and Mr Nagaraj Megavarnam (Hub Service Planning Manager Asia Europe). These esteemed professionals provided invaluable insights into the dynamic landscape of the supply chain and logistics industry.
The visit also opened up exciting career opportunities for our students, as Maersk discussed on-campus recruitment for internships and full-time roles. This direct engagement with a global industry leader will offer our students a deeper understanding of the industry, while providing them with practical pathways to advance their careers.
Moreover, we are excited to announce that two of Maersk’s esteemed representatives have been appointed as programme advisers for our Bachelor of Supply Chain Management (Honours) and Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) programme. Their expertise will further enhance the relevance and quality of our curriculum, ensuring that our graduates are well-prepared to meet the demands of the industry. We also look forward to the upcoming guest lectures delivered by both advisors, providing our students with valuable insights directly from industry practitioners.
