Shines as the Top Creative School in Malaysia in Ed Ranks 2023!

We are thrilled to share the exciting news from the team of Academic! Raffles University has yet again proven its commitment to creativity and innovation by clinching the title of “Top Creative School in Malaysia” in Ed Ranks 2023. This remarkable achievement is a testament to our unwavering dedication to nurturing creative minds and fostering a culture of innovation within our institution.
At Raffles University, we take immense pride in our outstanding academic team, and Ed Ranks 2023 has recognized their exceptional contributions. Dr Alex Tan Wei Kian has secured the prestigious Top 1 position; Ms Sylvia Tan Huey Wen at Top 2 and Mr Ellem Ooi Kok Hor at Top 4 in the Top Creative Lecturer list. Their efforts and passion for education have not only enriched our students but have also brought recognition to our university.
In this year’s Ed Ranks, Raffles University’s students have showcased their brilliance, leaving an indelible mark in various categories. Three of our exceptional students have earned the coveted Top spot for their creative projects, truly setting the bar for innovation in education:
- Lee Wan Yu – Gold Award for “Spotify: The Lost of W/ME” in Outdoor Craft
- Lek Yu Xuan – Gold Award for “The Secret of Shan Hai Jing” in Digital Campaign
- Ng Sin Yee – Gold Award for “Hoo Hoo Aid” in Digital Campaign!
We are equally proud of our students who have secured three Silver Awards in Ed Ranks:
Tang Yan Tiong for “Quixotica” in Digital Campaign
Cho Jia Sin for “Sleepcatcher” in 2D Design Campaign
Devon Lim Zhi Qi for “Heineverse” in Digital Campaign
Seow Shinji Takehira secured a Bronze Award for “Vision Johor- Cyberpunk Virtual Reality” in the Digital Campaign category. This accomplishment, along with our Gold and Silver awards, adds to our growing list of achievements.
With our exceptional student entries, we secured a total of 3 Golds, 3 Silvers, and 1 Bronze, ultimately earning us the prestigious title of “Creative School of the Year.” This recognition is not only a testament to the dedication of our students and faculty but also the creative atmosphere and ethos that define Raffles University.
We are incredibly proud of this achievement and are determined to continue nurturing and inspiring creativity, innovation, and excellence within our institution.
