Holding a Ph.D. in Engineering and Nanotechnology from the prestigious University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, Dr Leong’s expertise and research acumen are truly exceptional.

In addition to his doctoral achievements, Dr Leong has earned a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), and a Master of Engineering from the esteemed National University of Singapore. His diverse educational journey reflects a deep commitment to both technical excellence and business acumen.

With over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, Dr Leong currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer of NDR Medical Technology Pte Ltd. In his role, he specializes in building Research and Development, AI, and Machine Learning capabilities within the company. His practical experience in implementing cutting-edge technologies in real-world applications is an asset to our academic community.

Furthermore, Dr Leong’s impressive track record includes the grant of 14 US patents, underscoring his innovative contributions to technology and research. Additionally, he has published over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles, showcasing his dedication to advancing knowledge and sharing insights with the broader scientific community.
