One thing Raffles has taught me is to never be scared of seeing your lecturer to get a little more details on your studies. With lecturer who tried their hardest to ensure we do our best and give the most in class, it has really molded me to always give my utmost whilst I’m doing my work now. For this reason, I am indebted to all my psychology lectures that helped me through this.

Raffles has witness my growth. Being only a naive person, I am now at least a person with education stored in my chest and brain. Not just that, I am also with set of skills that would not go wasted in my next journey of life. With that, I’m proud to say that I am a person with education, skills and now a scroll in my hand.

The Raffles MBA was a stepping stone for my career and personal development. It gave me the tools to tackle and manage top decisions. I work for an international Pharmaceutical manufacturing company and with the knowledge and experience gained from MBA, I am able to communicate effectively with the management and make an effective contribution to the company’s success.

The reason that I choose Raffles University to study Bachelor in Accounting (Honours) is because the number of exemption that I received for the professional accountancy examination like ACCA. BAC offer students many options for their career opportunities. BAC offers internship programme as it is a must for the student to complete their final year. This internship allows the student to gain experience and get some exposure on the working environment which related to the industry and study field.

The most enjoyable and memorable experience that I gain from this program is when we get the opportunity to meet and learn new things from the employer. It really helps us a lot in building relationship and networks. Moreover, it is also give us the view on what type of skill and knowledge the employer looking for when they recruit fresh graduates. The university also arranged a mock interview with the employer from SQM audit firm.

When I reflect on my four years in Raffles University Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours)  program, I conclude that the experience has prepared me in unpredictable ways for my career. With incredibly supportive friends and lecturers who were nothing short of champions, I was challenged to discover a voice and talent I didn’t know I had.

Having been shaped in part by the friendly, collegial and competitive yet creative, environment at RU, I found myself able to communicate and collaborate in ways that enabled me to build my confidence, sharpen my skills and to be more disciplined.

Being the leader of a sales team, I needed relevant knowledge to be able to lead and achieve our team’s targets. Although I have worked in this industry for a long time, higher qualification was necessary for me to move ahead in my career. I am glad to have met my lecturers and course mates whoo have guided me with their knowledge from working in their own industries.

I like studying Psychology in Raffles University because I have the opportunity to learn practical knowledge delivered by lecturers who have immense work experience. I am also able to improve myself by socializing with my fellow university mates and picking up critical thinking skills through my classes. With the professional knowledge and experiences gained in RU , I believe that I will be well prepared for my future career.

Raffles lecturers have vast knowledge and experience in their respective fields. My accounting classes are intense and filled with practical knowledge.

In RU (formerly known as RUI), we gain exposure from inter-varsity competitions, classes, assignments and projects. We are also able to grow our soft skills through involvement in clubs and societies.

Raffles City Campus is a great location, with nearby food stall, cafes, and easy access to shopping malls.

RU (formerly known as RUI) has provided me with proper guidance and knowledge to think and overcome issues creatively. From what I have learnt, I can definitely say that RU achieved their mission, which is to provide quality education. I feel proud and grateful to be an RU student.

For me, art does not only refer to design, it also includes music, installation, dance, and many more. Everything that exists in our surroundings could be art, and that is what I am passionate about. My lecturers have good knowledge and experience in the design industry and have been guiding me for 3 years. I would describe y experience here as “Inspiring, Enriching and Fun.”

I am honoured to be studying Graphic Design in Raffles University  as the university has given me a good platform to solidify what has been my passion since childhood. I have learnt ow to use my passion for design in a matured way and it makes me ready to face any challenges in the future

Raffles University sparks creativity and provides a platform for student to have the opportunity to shine bright in their future. Our lecturers use various teaching methods to enhance our knowledge and ensure that we are on par with the industry standard by inviting professionals for Interior Design critique sessions.

We have amazing lecturers in the Fashion Design programme. The modules are comprehensive and it is set for students who are at different design levels. I have learnt a lot over my 3 years of study at Raffles.

Raffles has taught me never to celebrate mediocrity, and to aim only for excellence.

Here in RU, I was offered the essentials for my growth, such as a healthy workplace, creative freedom, and a friendly community.

What I appreciate most about the school is how well equipped it is. I often find myself going to school on my off days just to use the facilities or to work on assignments.

RU trains me to enhance my design skills and designing with my own style. I like how my lecturers teach and the way they express their knowledge. My lecturers teach through demonstration and this allows me to understand better. I’m looking forward to take on more challenges and grow my skills.

I am glad to be a Raffles Student as I am able to make new friends from all over the world. The lecturers in Raffles always provide a great study environment for us. I have improved my presentation and soft skills rapidly in a few months.

RU has provided me with a good environment to enhance my learning process and the opportunity to learn a lot of things which are helpful for my future. What I like the most about my lecturers is that they are full of experience and very patient in sharing their knowledge with us. I have grow through my experiences here and have learnt to become a more confident person.

My experience at Raffles University had not only made me a better designer and leader, but also prepared me in unpredictable ways for my career. The knowledge and information delivered by the lecturers had provided me with a deeper understanding of the Interior Design industry.

I entered Raffles University with the Foundation in Business programme and proceeded to the Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) course. My four years at Raffles University were among the best years of my life. When I reflect on the four year programme, I conclude that it wasn’t a piece of cake. There are lots of “brussel sprouts” to get through but by following Raffles’ recipe, I am cultivated with tools to jumpstart and refine the unpredictable future of my career. All I can say is that when I first set out on this journey, I was an entirely different person from what I have become now as Raffles presented an opportunity for me to grow on both a personal and professional level.

My journey at Raffles started with the Foundation in Liberal Arts programme and later followed by the Bachelor of Psychology. Over the years enrolled in Raffles’ programs, I was lucky to have been exposed to many experiences that I believe were exceptional. Foundation in Liberal Arts formed a strong backbone for my tertiary education. I have seen myself grow both personally and academically at Raffles University, and I am forever grateful for that.

RU is an excellent training ground to cultivate future entrepreneurs. I learnt the functional and practical approaches to business that will be useful in preparing me in the real world.

Life as an RU student was a unique experience. The growth I have seen in myself thanks to Raffles University is invaluable. It has taught me things far beyond theoretical knowledge and helped me broaden my horizons. I loved the friendly atmosphere at Raffles University and the fact that the lecturer were really close to the students.

The programme structure of RU is extremely up-to-date with the standard of the current industry. The programme is designed for students to really understand the content both in a theoretical and practical manner. This programme enabled me to work collaboratively with others through face-to-face discussions and online platforms.

Being a student of fashion design, we have a role to link the creativity and innovation.

RU shows us many new possibilities in term of creativity and new viewpoints in the fashion design industry.

The biggest achievement for me at RU was developing a positive attitude and the confidence of public speaking when proudly showcasing my artwork in front of people. I was trained to think critically and develop my technical software skills.

Not only that, various activities such as neurology practicum, field trips & engagement with students of different schools around Johor Bahru changed my perspective towards public speaking.
