[AUGUST 2023]<\/strong><\/p>

Raffles University’s students from the \u5546\u4e1a\u5b66\u7cfb<\/a> participated in the prestigious Bi-Annual ESTECH 2023<\/a>\/YOUNG CEO X-FACTOR CHALLENGE<\/a>,<\/strong> hosted by Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP)<\/strong> <\/em>and supported by Jabatan Pendidikan Tinggi (JPT) (Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia)<\/strong><\/em> from the 23rd – 24th of August 2023. The competition, designed to nurture the talents of young business enthusiasts, <\/span>witnessed<\/span> our<\/span> Business Faculty<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/a>students rise to the occasion and <\/span>demonstrate<\/span> their exceptional analytical skills, creative thinking, and commitment to sustainable business solutions. <\/span><\/p>

The theme for this year’s event was ‘Leading Business Sustainability through Business Data Analytics.’<\/strong><\/p>

Our heartfelt congratulations to Team HoneyTrap<\/strong><\/span> , led by the Programme Director of Supply Chain Management, Mr. Melvin LONG<\/strong>, from Raffles University, for clinching the 1st Runner-Up Prize.<\/strong><\/p>

The Journey to Success<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The YOUNG CEO X-FACTOR CHALLENGE<\/a><\/strong>, gather the brightest minds from universities across Malaysia. Raffles University’s Business Faculty<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/a> set out on this journey with enthusiasm and determination, driven by the desire to excel in the realm of business leadership. Our Honey Trap <\/strong><\/span>team from RU Business Faculty<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/a> embraced the competition’s objectives, which included promoting creativity, proposal resolution techniques, and sustainable business solutions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The challenge was not just a platform for participants to showcase their analytical skills but also an opportunity to hone their decision-making and problem-solving abilities. With the guidance of business faculty mentors and industry professionals, the RU Business Faculty<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/a> team delved into each mini business case, crafting solutions that balanced the objectives of the economy, society, and the environment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The hard work, late-night brainstorming sessions, and research had paid off. The difference of a mere 3.5% from the first prize only underscored the exceptional level of competition and the outstanding performance of our Raffles \u5546\u4e1a\u5b66\u7cfb\u9662 <\/span><\/a>students,HoneyTrap<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
