Raffles Fashion Designers from \u670d\u88c5\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5b66\u58eb\uff08\u8363\u8a89\u5b66\u4f4d\uff09\u00a0<\/span> <\/strong><\/a>had the opportunity to work with amazing kids from A Plus for Autism and created a mini collection module using their artwork. Visited the National Art Gallery for some cultural enrichment and hands-on learning. GET INVOLVE IN COMMUNITY: A Plus for Autism<\/strong><\/p>

Cultivating Industry Insight: Raffles Fashion Designers SOO Shi Han, Adam NG Zheng Han, WONG Jun Xing, and TAI Wen Jie<\/strong> recently had the incredible opportunity to explore Kuala Lumpur on a field trip. The students of Raffles University had the opportunity to participate in a unique project with A Plus for Autism,<\/strong> an NGO promoting autism acceptance. The project aimed to engage with children with autism and understand their world through their artwork, which would then be used to create a mini collection module.<\/p>

One of the highlights of the trip was working with the amazing kids from A Plus for Autism. The designers had the opportunity to collaborate with the children and create a mini collection module using their artwork. This not only allowed the designers to showcase their creativity and design skills but also provided them with a meaningful and rewarding experience that they will never forget.<\/p>

VISIT NATIONAL ART GALLERY<\/strong><\/p>

In addition to this, the students also visited the National Art Gallery<\/strong> at Titiwangsa KL, which was an enriching and educational experience. The gallery provided students with the opportunity to explore, discover and learn in a fun and engaging way. The visit included cultural enrichment, hands-on learning, critical thinking, curiosity, creativity, and real-world relevance.<\/p>

SHOPS HUNTING WITHIN KL AREA<\/strong><\/p>

The students also went on a fabric, embellishment and trimming shops hunting, which helped them to gain a better understanding of real hands-on touching and feeling of materials. This activity was aimed to give students a better understanding of the different types of fabrics, embellishments, and trimmings available and how to use them effectively in their designs.<\/p>

The project was a great learning experience for the students, as they were able to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by children with autism and learn how to cater to their needs while promoting creativity. The visit to the National Art Gallery and fabric shops also provided the students with practical knowledge and skills that will be useful in their future careers.<\/p>
